Walk
In My Shoes - Enhancing Interdepartmental Communication
| Purpose |
Effective
communication between business units, departments and team is crucial
for maximum organizational efficiency and production capabilities.
Due to the nature of organizations, each unit and individual tends
to view situations from their own perspective based on roles, culture
and experience. Optimum success occurs when people can step back from
their own perspective to see situation from the other viewpoint and
move forward with common understanding.
Participants learn how to interact more effectively with other departments
and teams to achieve organizational goals more cooperatively with
less disruption, misunderstanding and expensive rework. |
