LEAD Program
What we do in the LEAD Institute has a long history. LEAD actually started
out as an inhouse program when we developed the Manufacturing Leadership
Program for AT&T and then Lucent fifteen years ago. It contained some
of the core processes we use in LEAD today. About seven years ago we developed
the five day version of the LEAD Institute for High Potential Managers
as an inhouse program to develop 500 of a Motorolas global, high
potential and succession plan managers. This program was conducted at
numerous locations in the United States, South East Asia and Europe.
In addition to our open enrollment program, we continue to offer LEAD
as an inhouse program. Companies choose to do it inhouse when they want
to both develop individual leaders and have a major impact on organizational
change. Some of the other added benefits our client companies can get
by conducting LEAD as an inhouse workshop are as follows:
| |
Ensure
the personal developmental needs of high potential leaders are attended
to by creating a corporate mentoring program where senior leaders
provide guidance and counseling to participants after the program. |
| |
|
| |
Enhance
valued added performance improvement and personal growth by developing
processes to ensure that change plans participants create at the workshop
are implemented and evaluated. |
| |
|
| |
Build
and/or reinforce the companys image and core values in the participants
so the participants can in turn communicate this to others in the
company. |
| |
|
| |
Ensure
that all future leaders are getting the same leadership message and
know how their characteristics and performance is evaluated. |
| |
|
| |
Provide
participants access to Senior Leadership by having them give presentations
on important company related topics and issues during the LEAD program. |
| |
|
| |
Increase
retention by providing participants with an understanding that who
they are and what theyve accomplished is recognized and valued
by the company. |
| |
|
| |
Enhance
peer-to-peer net working, peer consultation, sharing of best practices
and lateral integration within and across locations and businesses. |
| |
|
| |
Create
a sense of belonging and commitment in participants to company. |
| |
|
| |
Ensure
the companys capability to expand the business by building a
larger and diverse pool of leadership talent on which to draw. |
Please contact me
if you are interested in determining whether inhouse LEAD program would
best fit your needs. After our discussion well develop a proposal
that outlines the best approach for you.

"In
my 25 years of Program Management, Quality and Manufacturing training
experiences, I have not attended a better course! LEAD specifically dealt
with my personal leadership styles, skills, faults and organization culture
change needed in my work unit."

"LEAD
is superior to other programs. It gives you information on style, leadership
and culture, ties it all together and shows how it relates to your situation."
