Dr. Frank Petrock's planned change expertise has benefited major corporations in North America and Europe for over 20 years. Both productivity and organizational effectiveness are improved through the application of his innovative approaches to team building, management development, performance improvement, training, and the design and management of major organizational change efforts.

Behavioral science theory is useful only when it is applied. Thus, Frank's developmental processes combine easily understood concepts with simulations and implementation strategies. Clients get the knowledge, skills, and tools with which to change their organizations.

In addition to consulting services, Frank contributes to a number of U.S. management and quality institutes including the Motorola Management Institute, AT&T's Manufacturing Leadership Program, Eastern Michigan University's Center for Quality, ABB's Quality Institutes, and the Institute for Management Studies. He also serves on the faculty of the Chalmers Advanced Management Programs headquartered in Sweden, and ABB Quality Institutes in Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Scotland, and Norway. Frank has also contributed to The University of Michigan’s Executive Education program and General Motors' Technical Staff Management.

Frank has had a long and varied career in the field of change management. His first appointment was as warden of a maximum security unit. There he designed and used innovative processes for behavioral and organizational change. In the early 1970’s, this innovative work in the field of corrections led to an invitation from the University of Michigan’s Psychology Department to earn a Doctorate in Behavior and Social Change. Frank received his Master's Degree from Farleigh Dickenson University and a Bachelor's Degree from Upsala College. Frank has works published in the field of behavior and social change and has developed numerous developmental processes.

Frank's current involvements include manufacturing/technical clients who are making the transition to self-managing work teams; team building for leadership teams; culture change in manufacturing and technical organizations; and consulting with newly appointed leaders to improve their transition processes.
