Steven Zeisler is founder and Director of Zeisler Associates, Inc. an international consulting and development firm that helps enterprises innovate. He has advised leading Fortune 500 corporations, private firms, public institutions, city councils and universities throughout the world. Zeisler has successfully served in consulting capacities, executive coaching roles, has facilitated the transformation of senior teams, and conducted a variety of training and development workshops.

His efforts have helped clients to rethink the way their business systems and organizations operate, and have triggered breakthrough developments in virtually all corporate functions worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Zeisler has been a faculty of a number of corporate Executive Universities including those of DuPont, Estée Lauder, Hoffmann-La Roche and Nestlé and serves on the faculty of the Institute of Management Studies. He has lectured and conducted workshops on innovation, creativity and leadership at universities and learning institutions around the world including Rutgers, the U.S. Army War College, the University of Melbourne, the University of Washington and the Eastern Management Development Center. BACKGROUND His effectiveness at helping organizations and individuals operate at higher levels than ever before is based on solid research, real-world applications and successful business experience. He has worked and studied in the fields of leadership and innovation for over two decades: simultaneously as an ‘intrapreneur’ who led a start-up business within a Fortune 15 company; as a corporate network leader who researched and evaluated approaches to innovation; and, for the past 14 years, as an international business consultant specializing in helping leaders successfully unleash innovation in their enterprises. He has worked on innovations as diverse as the first “all-aluminum” car - resulting in the Audi A6, Nescafé coffees, and fragrances and treatment products from Estée Lauder In 1996, he was named a group member of the Creative Problem Solving Group – Buffalo, one of just 35 professionals worldwide.

Zeisler has developed expertise in a wide range of business improvement strategies and technologies such as Total Quality Systems, Hoshin Strategic Planning, and Quality Function Deployment. He has worked or studied with world leaders in these domains including Dr. Edward de Bono, Dr. Michael Kirton and the late Dr. Edwards Deming. He is the author of articles on Leadership, Innovation, Creativity, and Chaos Theory that have been published in periodicals and journals worldwide. In 2000 his interactive creative thinking software “SENSEI…Where Innovators Go to Think® was released. This powerful innovation tool has been used successfully in a large number of organizations around the world. In 2005 he co-authored the book “The Manager’s Handbook for Virtual Teams”, a practical and effective leader’s guide to working with and developing high performing virtual teams that has rapidly become a “must-read”.

Zeisler is highly acclaimed as a keynote speaker. Past audiences have included members of the British Psychological Society, the American Society for Quality, the International Customer Service Association, the International Society for Performance Improvement, the American Executives for Manufacturing Excellence, the Centre for Leadership of the Ontario Public Service, Sales & Marketing Executives International, the Council of Colleges of Arts & Sciences, and the World Future Society.

Zeisler serves as a member of the IAUP/United Nations Commission on Disarmament Education, Conflict Resolution and Peace. He is a Director on the Board of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, one of the top five regional orchestras in the country, and is past President of the Board of Directors for Reading ASSIST Institute; a non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching of reading to children with dyslexia and other specific reading disabilities.

Zeisler graduated from the University of Wisconsin and continued his studies in Education and Psychology at the University of New South Wales, Australia and Organizational Psychology at the Occupational Research Centre in England.
